1What FileCamel is

A service for sending files. You upload one or more files, we give you a link, and whoever holds that link can download them until it expires. Sending a file needs no account.

A link is a secret, not a permission. Anyone holding it can download what is behind it, so treat sending the link as equivalent to sending the files. Put a password on it if that is not what you want.

2Your account

You may open an account if you are 13 or older. Keep your password to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at [email protected] if you think somebody else is using it.

One person, one account. Opening extra accounts to get around a limit on the free plan is a reason for all of them to be closed.

3What you may not upload

You are responsible for what you send, and you confirm you have the right to send it. You may not use FileCamel for:

• Sexual material involving children, in any form.
• Material you do not hold the rights to and are not licensed to share.
• Malware, or anything built to damage or gain access to a system.
• Somebody else's private information, published without their agreement.
• Threats, harassment, or material inciting violence.
• Anything illegal where you are, or where our servers are.

4Files expire, and there is no backup

Every link has an expiry, chosen when it is made. When it passes, the files are deleted. Deletion is permanent and immediate: there is no archive, no recycle bin, and no way for us to bring a file back once it has gone. The same is true if you delete a link yourself.

FileCamel is a way to send a file, not a place to keep one. Do not let a link be the only copy of anything you cannot lose.

5Premium, billing and tax

Paid by card, Premium is a subscription: billed monthly or yearly in advance, renewing automatically until you cancel. Paid in cryptocurrency, it is not — a wallet cannot be charged a second time, so a crypto purchase buys one month or one year, runs for exactly that, and then stops with nothing to cancel. Premium raises the limits on what a link can carry — up to 10 GB for a single file, 20 GB in total, 50 files in one link, expiry up to 30 days or a time you set, and no cap on passwords, messages or your own links. It does not buy storage, and it does not make files outlive their expiry.

Prices are shown before tax. Tax is added at checkout at the rate that applies where you are, so the total will be a little above the price shown.

Card payments are sold through Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record. Your card details are handled by them and never reach us. Their terms apply to the payment itself alongside these.

Cryptocurrency payments are processed by NOWPayments. You are shown an address and an amount; the payment is confirmed on the relevant chain, and we are told the order it belongs to and whether it settled. We do not receive a wallet address, and a crypto purchase is not tied to a card or a bank. A payment that arrives short, late, or on the wrong chain is the one real risk of paying this way: write to [email protected] with the order and it will be sorted out by hand.

We may change the price. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a renewal at the new price.

6Refunds

Payments to FileCamel are not refundable. Once a subscription period has been paid for, that payment is final. In particular, we do not refund:

• The unused remainder of a month or year after you cancel.
• A renewal you meant to cancel and did not.
• A period during which you did not use the service.
• An account closed for breaking clause 3.

Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not return the current one. Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. A crypto purchase has no renewal to stop — it simply ends on its own date.

Nothing here removes a right you have under consumer law where you live that cannot be signed away. If you were charged twice for the same period, or charged after cancelling, that is a mistake rather than a refund — write to [email protected] and we will put it right.

7Cancelling

Cancel at any time from your account page. There is no notice period and nothing to ask us for. Links you have already made keep the expiry you chose, and when Premium ends your account returns to the free plan's limits for new links.

8When we remove something

We may remove a link, or close an account, without notice where we believe clause 3 has been broken, where we are required to by law, or where a link is being used in a way that threatens the service for everybody else. Reports are counted and they are read, but no number of them removes a link on its own — a person decides.

9What we do not promise

FileCamel is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that a file will always be retrievable, or that it will suit a particular purpose. We are not able to guarantee the delivery of a file we do not keep a copy of.

The malware check is a lookup against a third party's existing records. A clean result means nothing known has been reported against that file — it is not a promise that a file is safe, and you should treat a download from a stranger as you would any other.

10Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost files, lost profit, lost data, or anything that follows on from those. Where we are liable despite this, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, if you have never bought Premium, is nothing.

This does not limit liability for anything that cannot be limited by law.

11Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use FileCamel after that is how the new version is accepted. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, it takes effect at your next renewal rather than immediately.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute — without removing any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
