Report a link.

Uploads can be anonymous — sending a file needs no account — so the fastest way to get something taken down is to tell us which link, and why. Registered accounts do exist; they are for the extras, not for sending.

The quickest route

Open the link you want to report and use Report on that page. It records the reason against that link specifically, which is what lets it be acted on without a conversation. Every report reaches a person: nothing on this site takes a link down by counting reports, because a rule like that is a delete button handed to whoever can gather enough of them.

What we act on

The reasons the report form offers are the ones handled directly:

Reports of sexual content or of someone's private information are escalated the moment they arrive rather than joining the queue, because waiting is its own kind of harm in those two.

Copyright

Email [email protected] with the link, the work being infringed, and confirmation that you hold the rights or act for whoever does. A link is a single path — please send the link itself rather than a description of it.

Law enforcement

Email [email protected]. Be aware of what does and does not exist here before you ask for it. There are no accounts, so there is no identity attached to an upload. What is recorded is the uploading IP address, the time, file names and sizes. Files are deleted when the link expires, and once deleted they are gone — there is no backup to recover them from. A preservation request needs to reach us before expiry.

Child sexual abuse material

Report it to the authorities first, not only to us. In India, the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. In the United States, the NCMEC CyberTipline. Elsewhere, INHOPE lists the hotline for your country. Then email [email protected] with the link so it can be removed. Do not download or forward the material to anyone, including us — the link alone is enough.

Taking down your own link

Reporting it is not the way. Open Your uploads and delete the link there — the files go from storage immediately. Signed in, the link is matched to your account; anonymously, the manage code shown when you made the link is the proof. If you have lost both, write to [email protected] from the address on the account, or wait for the expiry you set.

If we get it wrong

A link removed in error is a mistake we would rather hear about than not. Write to [email protected] with the link and what you think happened. Removals are recorded with the reason and the time, so there is something to check against rather than a memory of it.

Anything else — billing, an account you cannot get into, a question about the terms or the privacy policy — goes to [email protected] instead. This address is watched for takedowns, and a billing question sent here waits behind them.

Who is responsible, and how long we take

Complaints about anything on this site — a link, a removal, a privacy question — go to [email protected]. Include the link and what you are asking for. A complaint is acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days of being received. Anything involving sexual content or someone's private information is not held to that clock — it is looked at the same day.
